Decide before the flight how you want to leave the airport

A confirmed private transfer suits a traveller who wants the destination, vehicle requirements and pickup plan agreed before flying. An airport taxi or Grab lets you arrange transport after arrival. A 24-hour pickup facility does not guarantee an immediately available vehicle for your particular Pattaya trip.

If you would rather rest after a long flight, consider staying near the airport and travelling onward later. Check accommodation access and transport arrangements directly. Do not plan around an overnight bus that is not on the timetable

RRC publishes separate Airport–Pattaya and Airport–Jomtien services. Neither published timetable offers departures after midnight. The Jomtien timetable also notes that its 22:00 airport departure ends at Pattaya Bus Station rather than Jomtien. Check the live operator page for your date instead of relying on an old last-bus time.

A bus can still suit a morning arrival or a traveller happy to wait for the next service. Include the journey from the arrival station to your accommodation, luggage handling and ticket availability in that decision.

Use the instructions for the transport you choose

Airports of Thailand lists public taxis 24 hours a day on Level 1 between Gates 4 and 7, with a queue-ticket system. Its designated Grab pickup is on Level 1 at Gate 4. Follow current airport signs and, for Grab, the instructions shown for your booked ride.

Those locations describe the public taxi and Grab facilities. They do not establish the meeting point for an ELARO transfer. For an arranged ride, save the instructions supplied for your own booking and check the driver and vehicle details before leaving.

Check the Thai arrival date, not just the hour

A flight leaving your home country on Monday may arrive in Thailand on Tuesday. If arrival is 00:30, the date has already changed. Send the flight number, BKK airport code, scheduled arrival date and time in Thailand, plus the exact Pattaya address.

Allow for the arrival process after touchdown. Immigration, baggage and customs come before you reach public transport. Avoid inventing an airport-exit time; tell the provider whether a time you supply means scheduled landing or a separately agreed pickup. Notify your accommodation if late check-in or a locked entrance could affect arrival.

Save a small arrival pack before departure

• Written transport confirmation, including the destination and agreed total with inclusions.
• Pickup instructions and the contact channel to use if you cannot find the driver.
• Your accommodation address, entrance instructions and late check-in acknowledgement.
• Passenger and luggage requirements, including any child restraint agreed for the actual vehicle.
• A plan for reaching the provider if your phone cannot connect, and the terms for changing your ride.

Request an ELARO trip for your actual arrival
